As we are training Christian ministers and workers it is essential that applicants to VLBTC demonstrate a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, live a consistent Christian lifestyle. Minimum age for enrolment is 16 years.

Fluency in reading, writing and understanding English is essential. The student body represents many nationalities and cultures. However, students not competent in English would be encouraged to complete a recognised English language subject before commencing studies at VLBTC.

VLBTC is committed to access and equity principles and does not discriminate against enrolment of students on the basis of sex, race, colour, national origin, denomination or physical disability. All staff are aware of the dangers of gender bias and discriminatory language. VLBTC will continue to work to eliminate any such bias from all lecture content in the curriculum.

Health concerns or disabilities which may affect the student’s studies should be noted on their application and be discussed in the personal interview. If students have disabilities which create difficulties with normal assessment procedures, they will be given alternate means of demonstrating their competence within the boundaries of fairness.

Students have easy access to all training rooms, toilet facilities Library, Bookshop, Café and parking. The premises provide wheelchair access and a lift to ensure all students have access to its facilities.

Regular local church attendance is vital and a recommendation by the student’s Pastor will be required prior to enrolment. Continued enrolment will require that students honour their payment of fees on or before they become due, demonstrate a diligent application in the completion of their subject whilst being committed to maintaining a lifestyle which glorifies God.
